Exhibit some of the creations or works of the deceased’s favourite pastime.

In the celebration of a life, it is important to take into consideration what were the deceased’s passion and interests. Many people have a special hobby or pastime that was important to them, and that they had spent many hours throughout their life enjoying.

If the deceased had a particular interest or hobby or was involved in the arts, crafts or photography, bring some of their works in to be displayed at the funeral.

For example a quilt can be draped over the coffin, or photos of cars that were restored can be displayed on a table.

Items representing important aspects of their life can be placed on the coffin by the family, either as part of the service, or placed before the service commences.

Photos of their interests can be included on the orders of service booklets, photo collage board, memorial videos and photo slideshows.  They can even be used to personalise the coffin.
